i chose the photography one but anyways i saw this green bird from far and i instantly knew it was a parakeet
and i got worried because it's a domesticated bird yOU CANNOT SET THOSE FREE THAT'S EVIL MOST DIE
anyways i was like this is such a bright green bird it must be a parakeet
and then it flew over right to me and perched on a branch RIGHT next to me and my gueSS WAS CORRECT: IT WAS A BUDGERIGAR. THAT'S RIGHT FOLKS, I MET A BIRD THAT SOMEONE LET FREE.
it was obviously tame, as it didn't fly when we went very close and took great photos of it, and i attempted to feed it but it seemed scared and took a few steps back and then i stopped. but so the other people were like OMGEE YOU'LL GET BIRD FLU STAY AWAAAAY and i was like you shut up the stray cats you were so close to probably gave you rabies woman buT
SO THE WHOLE TIME I WAS SO SAD THAT SOMEONE LET IT WILD BUT IT SEEMED TO BE THRIVING VERY WELL. LIKE VERY VERY VERYW ELL. it was in mint condition, vivid colors and seemed very clean. but then this guy came up and kept trying to catch it and keep it. even though budgieS ARE NOT supposed to be in the wild here, it still doesn't mean you can't take it. and i was sure he was going to keep it in cruel conditions, as he was going to snatch it from the legs. my friends and i were telling him no no no and then he almost got it but the parakeet was such a ninja and even though the hand was so close when it jolted to catch the bird the bird fleW AWAY and then the same thing ahppened again until he couldn't get it.
we were so happy.
again, NEVER set your birds "free". this beautiful little adorable birdie seemed to be thriving, but most domesticated birds have very low chance of survival on their own, not dependant on humans. it was so sad... but i'm happy that terrible man didn't get him (even though the parakeet would be safer in human hands) but noT HIS HANDS.
(i have pictures i'll upload)

i also saw... this man with three monkeys being cruel. he was whipping them and beating them and pretended to hit them with knives, and the monkeys striked back and he kept pretending that they were fighting and it was terrible people enjoyed watching it and were laughing but it was so sad. the monkeys had bald spots(im sure from "discipline", and then one was crippled so when he was leaving the monkey was being strangled, dragged on the leash by the throat. i will never forget its expression.. it's terrible what we do to animals.

Finally, smart people!
lol but seriously!
People who expect a bird that has lived in a cage it's whole life to be able to understand how to find food or what to not go to in the wild are just so frustrating!
Budgies are preyed on a lot because of their bright colours and are raised constantly getting necessities from humans so have little chance in the wild.
There is a chance that it escaped, but still.
I'm not even gonna talk about the monkey thing... even though I don't particularly like monkeys that much it's just CRUELTY- oh wait i said i wasnt...
